Despite the challenge of COVID-19 in 2020, Oklahoma Microscopy Society continued hosting our annual Ugly Bug Contest. Due to the pandemic, many Oklahoma schools were switched to virtual learning, which make it hard for science teachers from elementary schools to organize the initial school-wide bug collections and internal competitions. Therefore, we specially thanks to the schools and teachers who put special effort to work with students and their families to collect the “Ugliest” bugs and participated in the 2020 contest.
